ENVIRONMENT AND SITUATION
OLIVES IN A NATURAL PARK
Our olives are born and grew in the fields “El Olivar del Parque”, situated in the virgin crops of Natural Park Cabo de Gata-Níjar, in Almeria.
This privileged environment is found in the first marine-terrestrial Natural Park of Andalusia, created in 1987, and includes one of the most beautiful coastlines and ecological richness of the Mediterranean, becoming one of the largest natural jewels.
With an extension of 38.000 hectares is, also, Reserve of the Biosphere, Area of Special Protection for the Bird, Wetland of International Importance, and Specially Protected Area of Mediterranean Importance.
Around our farm we can find a wealth of ecosystems, with unique species that exist nowhere else on the planet (el Dragoncillo del Cabo, la Aulaga Mora, el Camachuelo Trompetero, la Alondra de Dupont).
In the Natural Park there are numerous cultural interest assets, as mills, wells, farms, wells, …, which are part of the landscape and are the testimony of a culture traditionally linked to the use of natural resources.
Our crop, near of the Mediterranean Sea, is found flanked by two small coastal towns of a special beauty, Aguamarga and Las Negras.
Special mention deserves the town of Aguamarga, with its Paradise beach with crystal clear water and white sand, and a charm that make it a paradise for visitors.
